Cheese Dip Recipe
You can tell this recipe for cheese dip is older, as it lists one ingredient as “salad dressing” which is how they used to refer to mayonaise. :) Looks like a good recipe if you want something you can “make ahead” and refrigerate.
INGREDIENTS:
- 8 ounces of Cream Cheese
- 1/2 of a medium-sized onion, grated (optional)
- 1 teaspoon of Garlic Salt
- 2 tablespoons of Milk
- 1-1/2 ounces of very sharp Old English Cheese
- 3 tablespoons of Salad Dressing (mayonaise)
Cheese Ball Recipe
Here is a recipe for cheese balls. My aunt has made these at Christmas for many years, and they are always a hit. This is the traditional version of the recipe, but feel free to change it up a bit with different types of cheese, etc. Let us know in the comments section what makes your cheese balls special if you make these!
INGREDIENTS:
- 8 ounces of Cream Cheese
- 2 Tablespoons of onion, finely chopped (optional)
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of garlic powder OR salt
- 1/2 a cup of Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 1 tablespoon of Milk
- Pecans, finely chooped (enough to coat the outside of the cheese ball)
